Sabine Rath - Your Tourist Guide for Salzburg

I was born on 23 January 1978 in Bad Radkersburg in beautiful Styria and my parents gave me the name "Sabine". In ancient Rome, this name meant "belonging to the Sabines", which corresponded to an ancient tribe that consisted almost exclusively of women.

In my early 20s, I was drawn to Salzburg to devote myself to tourism and its guests. For more than twenty years now, Salzburg has grown close to my heart as my adopted home.

After completing my tourism training as a tourism management assistant, I specialised in the languages German, English and Spanish.

At the same time, I gained experience in dealing with people in the hotel industry, both in the front office and in guest relations management.

As an entrepreneur, the individual care of my clients is very important to me.

It goes without saying that I offer tailor-made programmes in terms of guided tours and excursions. As my guests, you can personally feel that I enjoy my job very much because I am a self-employed tourist guide with heart and soul.

Since June 2012 I have also been an enthusiastic mum to my sweet Sofía, who is half-Spanish. Combining work and family is the "true art" and I love both.

Over the years, I have developed a focus on Salzburg and the surrounding area in terms of my profession, as the enchanting city of Mozart delights with its personal flair.
